Prices and terms for translation and transcreation
- Texts translated from English, French, Russian or Bulgarian into German are billed per word in the original.
- Depending on the language, difficulty, length and urgency the price of a word may vary from € 0,12 for general non-specific content up to € 0,30 for specialised translations including all necessary research.
- Translations from German into any other language are billed per line in the German original text.
- One standard line costs approx. € 1,55 – 2,05.
- A standard line has 55 keystrokes, including the spaces between the words; a standard page consists of 30 standard lines.
- Bullet points (e. g. lists, menues, etc.) count as a complete line and are billed as such.
- Running texts: prices based on the lines/pages in the original. This is because we translate whole texts and not just single elements (like sentences or plain words). If a text ends in the middle of a line this line is still being considered as filled up and costs accordingly. The same applies for texts ending in the middle of a page (like at the end of a chapter).
- No charges for changes in your original text, as long as the additional work arising is less than one hour.
- Transcreation: per hour billig only and no urgent assignments.
